Segment points

A segment is subdivided into segment points. These points are used to define beam elements and nodes for the RM Export. Segment points are drawn in the ground plan and elevation window by their FE-cross sections that are assigned to them.

To export beams and nodes to RM, several assignments are necessary:

  • Definition of segment points along the axis
  • Assignment of cross sections to the segment points
  • Definition of a numbering scheme for elements and nodes
